Simultaneously with the contracting of international engineering projects, export of complete plants as well as import and export of electric and machinery products, CMEC has also engaged in the relevant service business such as holding of international exhibitions, international bid inviting, materials handling and logistics as well as property management. The international exhibition and international bid inviting business have taken a leading position in the domestic market. So far as the international engineering design is concerned, CMEC has considerable strength in the field of plant design, civil architecture design and integrated design of industrial parks. Projects designed has been awarded prizes of state, provincial and ministerial level on several occasions.
International Exhibition
CMEC International Exhibition Co., Ltd. participates twice annually in “China Export Commodities Fair” the biggest exhibition held in Guangzhou, during the past several years, they have sponsored successfully some industrial exhibition displaying hardware items, plastics and packaging machinery, refrigerator and air conditioner, auto parts, power and lighting devices, building materials, kitchen and sanitary products. In addition, the Co. has successfully bidden and won several “non-commercial overseas fairs and exhibitions” that are sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce in China and China Council for the Promotion of International Trade” (CCPIT)
CMEC is engaged in the import business of acting as agent for the projects through domestic and international bidding and tendering. Sectors that call for tenders involve: machinery, electric power, telecommunication, energy, communication, environmental protection, chemicals, agriculture, culture and education, medicine and pharmaceutics and information technology. The tendering practices include: international and domestic public bidding, invitation for bids, competitive negotiation, shopping and direct sourcing. Items of the tender include: commodity and goods, project, service business, as well as BOT etc.
So far as the design of international engineering projects is concerned, CMEC has considerable capacity in the field of plant design, design of civil buildings and integrated design of industrial parks, the designed projects have been awarded on several occasions prizes of the state, provincial and ministerial levels.
