CMEC Funds the Establishment of a Charity Primary School in Equatorial Guinea
On August 12, the completion ceremony for a charity primary school built with the financial aids of CMEC was held in Mongomo, Equatorial Guinea. The ceremony was attended by guests from Equatorial Guinea including Mayor of Mongomo, representatives from the Ministry of Mines, Energy, and Industry, and Director of the Djiploho Hydropower Station Project Office as well as Chinese personnel involved in the power transmission & transformation project for Djiploho Hydropower Station.

CMEC party committee made promptly an urgent proposal to make money donation to support the earthquake-stricken areas. In addition, upon learning that a lot of blood is needed to save lives of earthquake victims and the call is made by the Municipal office in Beijing to residents for blood donation, an emergency meeting was held on May 13th at 15:30 to plan blood donation. After the meeting, labour union and retired cadre division of CMEC took the initiative immediately to contact the local blood donation office.
CMEC constructed the Liaoyuan Primary School at Qinglong county, Hebei Province, and it is unveiled by Vice Minister Zhang Delin on school opening ceremony.
